The 8" germ cyclone system has become the standard offering for larger plants, offering reliable operation of larger cyclone, with proven efficiency of smaller cyclone systems.
Fluid-Quip’s germ separation systems are proven performers. Each system is constructed of stainless steel with modular components, and requires minimum amount of floor space. If floor space is limited, or the area is irregular, we can custom design the system to fit into the space available.

Each cyclone is accessed easily and Fluid-Quip’s quick disconnect couplings make removal and replacement of the cyclones quick and easy. Full port ball valves allow individual cyclones to be taken off line on the run to accommodate production or maintenance requirements.

Cyclones are available in 6”, 8” or 9” sizes. The 15-5 pH hardened stainless steel cast heads eliminate the cracking prevalent in weld fabricated designs. The cone sections are made of 316L stainless steel that is work hardened by the spinning process for abrasion resistance. The 1/8” thick walls insure structural stiffness and long cyclone life.

Fluid-Quip’s cyclones are interchangeable with many other 6”, 8” and 9” systems commonly used in the corn wet milling industry.
